In wall-type heat exchangers, the cold and hot fluids are separated by a wall, and heat is transferred from the hot fluid to the cold fluid through the wall. Wall-type heat exchangers are the most widely used, with common types including plate heat exchangers, tube-and-plate heat exchangers, spiral plate heat exchangers, plate-fin heat exchangers, finned tube heat exchangers, and double-pipe heat exchangers. The heat exchange amount of wall-type heat exchangers can be calculated using Q=K·F·Δtm, where Q is the heat exchange amount, measured in kW.
