What are the characteristics and functions of a pressure-regulating valve? Answer: A pressure-regulating valve is used for automatic pressure regulation in heat exchange station systems. When there is excess water in the system and the working pressure exceeds the set pressure value, the pressure-regulating valve can automatically discharge water to the outside of the system. In the past, safety valves were used for pressure regulation, but it was gradually discovered during use that ordinary safety valves produce difficult-to-overcome noise due to resistance in the discharge pipe, the valve stem does not seal properly, and they cannot direct overflow water to higher places.   Answer: A high-temperature water heating method has begun to be adopted in many regions. The design supply and return water temperatures selected domestically are generally 115 °C and 75 °C, while the actual operating temperatures are usually lower than the design values. The design water temperature for the secondary network is 95 °C to 70 °C, and the actual operating temperature is also relatively low. There are generally two methods for providing high-temperature water: one is provided by a water boiler, and the other is provided by a steam-water heat exchange station. The 'SP40' type pneumatic heater can achieve a supply and return water temperature difference of 40 °C, which can meet the parameters required for the primary station, but the water quality issue during condensate recovery has not yet been well resolved. To achieve condensate recovery, the pneumatic heater can first raise the water temperature by 40 °C, and then exchange it through a plate heat exchanger to become 115 °C water, allowing the condensate to be sent directly back to the boiler.
