Oil coolers are an important component of hydraulic and lubrication systems. Oil coolers are usually divided into air-cooled oil coolers and water-cooled oil coolers. Two media with a certain temperature difference can exchange heat, thereby reducing oil temperature. They are widely used in industries such as plastic machinery, mining, automotive, steel industry, and aerospace.


      The oil cooler is an important component of hydraulic and lubrication systems. Oil coolers are generally divided into air-cooled and water-cooled oil coolers. Two media with a certain temperature difference can exchange heat, thereby reducing oil temperature. They are widely used in industries such as plastic machinery, mining, automotive, steel industry, and aerospace.

      The working principle of the oil cooler is that when in use, the heat medium enters from the connection pipe on one side of the cylinder, sequentially entering each folded channel, and then flows in a winding manner towards the outlet of the connection pipe. The cold medium enters the cooler pipe from the water inlet on one side and then flows into the cooler pipe on the other side from the return water cover. During the process of the cold medium flowing through the two pipes, it absorbs the residual heat released by the hot medium, which is then discharged through the outlet, maintaining the rated working temperature of the working medium.

      Common fault analysis: What to do if the oil cooler is corroded? 1. There are mainly three reasons: materials, environment (water quality and gas), and electrochemical reactions. 2. Cooling performance decline: If the performance of the oil cooler declines, the main reason is the blockage and deposition on the cooler pipe wall; additionally, lack of water can also cause a decline in cooling performance. Damage to the cooler: The main reason for cooler damage is the effect of thermal expansion and contraction of the material. When the oil cooler material is heated or cooled, the cooling pipes and related parts may be damaged.
