Installation, Use, and Maintenance of Plate Heat Exchangers

1. The heat exchanger must be installed vertically, and the low position of all lower connecting pipes should have a discharge port and valve installed; insulation should be applied as much as possible according to needs; leave space for maintenance. 2. When starting up, ensure that the outlet valves on both sides are open, first slowly open the cold side fluid valve to allow the cold fluid to circulate, then slowly open the hot fluid valve, and try to avoid large pressure fluctuations during operation. When shutting down, first close the hot fluid inlet valve and then the cold fluid inlet valve, also operating slowly. 3. When stopping, ensure that the residual liquid in the channels on both sides is completely discharged (open the discharge port at the bottom of the pipe) and check whether the inlet valve is tightly closed.

Before disassembly, measure the distance between the two frame clamps and record the clamping size; when disassembling, stand directly behind the column and use both hands to remove and hang the plates, avoiding uneven force and tilting that could cause deformation. Loosen and tighten the screws diagonally and evenly, ensuring the clamping size is appropriate and not overly tight; mark the special position plates and rubber strips to avoid being unable to reassemble them in the original state; when cleaning the plates, the sealing rubber strips should be removed for individual cleaning, and do not use iron brushes or soak in corrosive liquids; when hanging the rubber strips back on the plates, ensure they do not shift (a small amount of glue can be used for fixing, but not too much or it should not run outside the rubber pad).
